What the critics say (scores are out of 100)
Ubergizmo | Hubert Nguyen The LG Q6 is about experience and style, not specs. LG was able to deliver a very compact phone that looks like a high-end phone, and the LG Q6 does very well in this category of smartphones. Read full review |
NotebookCheck | Florian Wimmer LG made cuts in a lot of places. Especially, the LG Q6´s performance is too low for this price segment. The solid case, the slightly above average battery runtime, and the very good screen save the phone from drowning. Read full review |
GadgetMatch | Daniel Morial Going straight to the point: If you want to have an LG G6 but the budget is tight, you could opt for the Q6. Read full review |
TechPP (Technology Personalized) | Akriti Rana The Q6 definitely looks future proof, but its performance and price hark more to a period of the past. Read full review |
TechRadar | Cameron Faulkner Unofficially titled the "LG G6 mini", the Q6 is an impressive midrange phone on its own. While it lacks certain flagship features and annoyingly, a fingerprint sensor, the FullVision display and rear-facing camera are stand-out inclusions that you probably won't find elsewhere for this cheap. |
Android Authority | Bailey Stein While its 18:9 display and near bezel-less build is impressive, the Q6 is tough to recommend over competing options. The lack of a fingerprint reader, unimpressive cameras, and other minor issues are difficult to overcome even at this price. Read full review |
NDTV Gadgets | Roydon Cerejo We would say that the LG Q6 is a good buy if you prioritise looks above all else and like having something to show off. Apart from these things, there's little else to get excited about. Read full review |
The Mobile Indian | Rohan Pal To sum up, the LG Q6 comes with a surprisingly compact form factor and the FullVision display does almost do a decent job. Read full review |
Mobile Syrup | Dean Daley Prettiest budget phone with a mid-range price. Remember you can't judge a book by its cover. The LG Q6 is a beautiful device and looks like a modern day flagship, but it doesn't feel like one. Read full review |
phoneArena | Victor H. At the end of the day, the LG Q6 is a unique phone: it's the only affordable phone with a bezel-less screen. That is a game-changer and it's an important feature, but it's not the only feature that matters. At at the full retail price in Europe, there are far better options out there. Read full review |
Gadgets Now | Robin Sinha ... has a beautiful display with wide 18:9 aspect ratio which we've seen with the flagship LG G6. The body is compact and light-weight while the battery is one of the most appealing corners in the device. The camera too works flawlessly across the board. If the phone scores high in some aspects, it also has its fair share of lows. The back panel is a fingerprint magnet and the overall performance of the device is also not the best in class. It is definitely not meant for heavy users but is more for light and casual users.... Read full review |
AndroidPit | Luca Zaninello The idea behind this smartphone is really a good one. Something, however, has gone terribly wrong in the execution of this idea. Read full review |
91mobiles | Deepak Dhingra The Q6 is a bit of a mixed bag, but still quite noteworthy for what it bring. It looks good, offers a wide aspect screen at an affordable price, and shoots reasonably well too. The battery is the icing on the cake. Read full review |
